As part of the Festival of India, popular Indian dance group “Anart” led by distinguished artists Maulik Shah and Ishira Parekh performed Indian classical ‘Kathak’ dance at the Alder House of Culture in Sochi on 8th September 2018. The thematic dance opera “Vividha” presented by the group left the audience spellbound. The performance was seen by an enthusiastic audience who expressed their happiness at being offered an opportunity to watch an enthralling spectacle.
The ensemble “Anart” will also perform in Svetlogorsk (Kaliningrad) and in St. Petersburg on September 10th and September 11th respectively.
The Festival of India will showcase vignettes of Indian culture with performances of more than 50 artists organized in 22 cities across the length and breadth of Russia over a period of 6 months.
