On July 22, Mr. Mikhail Bogdanov, Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, held a meeting with Mr. D. B. Venkatesh Varma, Ambassador of India in Moscow, at his request.
During the conversation, the topical aspects of the Middle East and African agenda were discussed with an emphasis on the issues of the settlement of the Syrian crisis, as well as the theme of the Russia-Africa Summit, scheduled to be held in October this year in Sochi.
