Foreign citizens who pass to Saint Petersburg State University for studying in general educational programs (bachelors program, specialists program, masters program, postgraduate training program) may participate in two types of enrollment processes ( https://abiturient.spbu.ru/russkij/informatsiya-dlya-inostrannykh-grazhdan.html ):
Enrollment competition for places financed from budgetary assignations of federal budget of the Russian Federation within the quota
To participate in enrollment competition, you shall
1) select educational program
2) create a personal account for matriculate on the SPSUs web-site (https://cabinet.spbu.ru/Account/LogOn)
3) submit an application for the selected program within the period from 11 April to 15 June 2016.
4) the following documents are to be enclosed in the personal account:
- from
- passport
- photo
- medical assessment on absence of contradictions to studying in the Russian Federation
- medical certificate on absence of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and AIDS
- academic certificates (these documents shall be legalized and translated into Russian) or certificate from educational institution, in which the participant is studying at the moment.
- motivation letter in Russian (or in language of tuition)
- essay on theme approved for the selected program in Russian (or in language of tuition)
- description of the content of proposed scientific research (obligatory for those matriculating to postgraduate training program)
- copies of scientific publications in books/magazines that correspond to theme of selected training/education program
- CV that shall include information on academic (professional) training passed, research paper and achievements, professional experience e.t.c. (obligatory for those matriculating to postgraduate training program)
5. To obtain confirmation from official of Commission for enrollment of foreign citizens of SPSU that your documents are permitted for participation in enrollment competition. After that you shall wait for the results (on 15 July 2016)
6. In case of positive result in the competition and if entry visa to RF is required, you shall contact Commissions officials (turnaround time 40 days).
7. Enrollment to SPSU of matriculates whose candidacies were recommended by the Admission board of SPSU and approved by Ministry of education of the Russian Federation will be performed on the basis of being sent to study documents issued by Ministry of education and science of the Russian Federation
8. Classes in SPSU in educational year 2016/2017 starts on 01 September 2016.
Enrollment competition for places with agreement-based tuition and payment for education
To participate in enrollment competition, you shall
1) select educational program
2) create a personal account for matriculate on the SPSUs web-site (https://cabinet.spbu.ru/Account/LogOn)
3) submit an application for the selected program within the period from 11 April to 15 June 2016:
- in case if you require entry visa to RF until 08 July 2016
- in case if you dont require entry visa to RF until 10 August 2016
) the following documents are to be enclosed in the personal account:
- from
- passport
- photo
- medical assessment on absence of contradictions to studying in the Russian Federation
- medical certificate on absence of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and AIDS
- academic certificates with annexes if any (these documents shall be legalized and translated into Russian)
5. In case if you require entry visa to RF, you shall contact officials of the SPSU Commission for enrollment of foreign citizens (turnaround time 40 days).
6. You shall pass entrance trials in SPSU. Entrance trials are being performed in accordance with schedule of trials published at SPSUs official web-site:
- from 05 to 19 May 2016;
- from 15 to 30 June 2016;
- from 13 to 22 July 2016;
- from 03 to 17 August 2016.
7. In case of positive results in entrance trials, you shall sign an agreement and pay for the education.
8. Classes in SPSU in educational year 2016/2017 starts on 01 September 2016.
