Ambassador of India to the Russian Federation, H.E. Pankaj Saran visited the Rostov-VVER Nuclear Power Plant and Atommash Production Facility in Volgodonsk, Rostov Oblast on 16th March 2018.
Both these facilities of the "Rosatom" State Atomic Energy Corporation have strong links with the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project in India, including manufacturing of equipment.
They provide the foundation for ongoing and proposed nuclear energy cooperation between India and Russia.
