Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB) is the apex body of Ministry of Defence of India and is responsible to ensure implementation of Government policies and schemes for the welfare of Ex-Servicemen (ESM) of the Indian Defence Forces and their families. The Board has Hon’ble Raksha Mantri as its President and Secretariat of the Board manages the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund (AFFDF). These funds are utilized to run a large number of welfare schemes for ESM, martyrs, widows, as well as their dependents.
2. The Board has requested NRIs and PIOs abroad to make generous contributions to the AFFDF in recognition of the valuable sacrifices made by the veterans of the Defence Forces of India.
3. Contributions to the AFFDF can be made using any of the following means:
