On September 26, 2018, the Hindi Diwas was celebrated at the Embassy of India, Moscow. The programme was opened by Ambassador of India Mr. D.B. Venkatesh Varma. The evening featured performances by the students from MGIMO-University, RSUH, and IAAS MSU, as well as children from the School of the Embassy of India.
The DISHA friendship society released the Disha magazine.
The award ceremony for the winners of the essay competition also took place during the Hindi Diwas. Ambassador distributed the prize certificates.
