A gala concert of winners of 5th All Russian Festival performance was organized by ‘Nritya Sabha’ Foundation with the support of Embassy of India on May 1, 2016 in Moscow. More than 100 dancers from different Regions of Russia and neighboring countries participated in the competition/festival in classical, semi-classical, folk and Bollywood categories. It is a premier competition among the Indian dancers in Russia.
Ambassador Pankaj Saran inaugurated the concert and spoke about the long-standing close cooperation between peoples of India and Russia. He congratulated the organizers and participants of the festival and conveyed support from the Embassy for further intensifying the cultural cooperation between the two countries. Ambassador of Mongolia, Charge de Affairs of Afghanistan and Yemen also graced the occaision.
An audience of over 500 people, including government officials, diplomatic corps and eminent persons, enthusiastically cheered and appreciated the splendid performances by the winners of the competition dance festival.
