Digital Library of the Embassy of India (Moscow office)

The Digital Library of the Embassy of India in Moscow was opened on February 18, 2021, at a solemn ceremony. It was inaugurated by the Indian Foreign Secretary Shri Harsh Shringla during his official visit to Moscow on February 17-18, 2021.

The Digital Library consists of a specialized software and hardware complex, designed to provide access to electronic books. It is now available onsite, at the Library of the Embassy of India at Vorontsovo Pole 9 building 3 (limited access due to Covid-19) and in an online format at https://eoidigitallibrary.ru/.

At the moment Digital Library consists of up to 5,000 publications, 66 thematic sections in Russian, English and Indian languages, including Hindi, Assamese, Bengali and others.

A newly added feature allows submitting a request to add a certain book to the Digital Library if the book is not found in the Digital Library. It comes to an Embassy's e-mail and is then proceeded by a responsible person.
