Pravasi Asomiya Divas

The Government of Assam in Industries & Commerce Department is proposing to hold a Pravasi Asomiya Divas - a Convention with the Overseas Indian Community of Assam Origin in the second part of March, 2017 at Guwahati, Assam, India. This would be the first edition of the Pravasi Asomiya Divas  envisaged in the line of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas conducted annually by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. The event is being arranged to project the State’s various policies on investment, new initiatives, schemes, programmes and opportunities. In this connection, the Government of Assam is in the process of documentation of database of Indian community of Assam origin from all over the world. The Indian Associations are, therefore, requested to provide the information on the Indian community of Assam origin residing in Russia as early as possible.  It is also requested that this information may be disseminated amongst other members of the Indian community of Assam origin.”
