People around the world can join Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's yoga video tutorials to improve their health while at home due to quarantine measures for the coronavirus pandemic. This was announced by the Ambassador of India in Moscow Bala Venkatesh Varma in an interview with TASS.

"In order to support people who are at home and want to stay healthy, Prime Minister Modi published yoga video tutorials in which his 3D animation performs the exercises," the diplomat said.

The “Yoga with Modi” video tutorials are available in 12 languages, including Russian. They are available on the YouTube Channel of the Head of the Indian Government.

The Prime Minister of India has long been known for his love of this spiritual practice. In September 2014, during his speech at the 69th session of the UN General Assembly, Modi invited the World Organization to establish an International Yoga Day. Then he also said that yoga can change for the better the way of life of people, and also help in solving world problems.

On December 11 of that year, the UN General Assembly, in its 69/131 resolution, proclaimed June 21 as International Yoga Day.
