Mr. Sergey Lavrov, Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation and Mr. Wang Yi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China will visit India on 11 December 2017.
During their visit, they will take part, together with the host External Affairs Minister Smt. Sushma Swaraj, in the 15th RIC (Russia, India, China) foreign ministerial meeting in New Delhi on 11 December 2017. The meeting is expected to review global and regional issues of mutual interest as well as discuss trilateral exchanges and activities. A joint communiqué is expected to be released following the meeting.
Foreign Minister Lavrov and Foreign Minister Wang Yi are also expected to call on President Shri Ram Nath Kovind and have bilateral meetings with External Affairs Minister.
During the visit, Foreign Minister Lavrov is delivering a public lecture at the Vivekanand International Foundation on the subject ‘Global Affairs and new vistas of Russia-India cooperation’.
Further, Foreign Minister Wang Yi would be gracing an India-China Cultural evening being organized at Pravasi Bhartiya Kendra.
