Carpet Export Promotion Council is an apex body set up by Ministry of Textiles,Govt. of India for export promotion of Handmade Carpets and other floor coverings, having around 1850 Member-Exporters from all over India. The basic objective of the Council is to promote the exports of Handmade Carpets and other floor coverings from the country. The main role of EPCs is to project the India's image abroad as a reliable supplier of high-quality goods. To achieve the above objective, CEPC is organizing various Fairs and Exhibitions in India and abroad.
“India Carpet Expo”, the flagship Expo of the Council, started in the year 2000, is a biannual fair and has become a world fame international fair amongst the buyers of Handmade carpets, rugs and other floor coverings. Most of the Manufacturers & Exporters from main carpet producing areas like Bhadohi, Mirzapur, Varanasi, Agra, Jaipur, Panipat, Srinagar etc. will be exhibiting their wide range and varieties of handmade carpets, rugs and other floor-coverings in the Expo.
We are pleased to inform that the Carpet Export Promotion Council is organizing the 49th edition of INDIA CARPET EXPO from 11th to 14th October, 2025 at Carpet Expo Mart, Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh (India) – one of the largest Carpet Trade Fairs in the Asia, where 225 prominent Handmade Carpet Manufacturer and Exporters will showcase their complete range of Handmade Carpets, Rugs and other Floor Coverings and more than 500 overseas Buyers from more than 60 countries will attend the Expo.
To attract and give financial ease to overseas buyers in “INDIA CARPET EXPO”, the Carpet Export Promotion Council will provide the following complimentary package to selected overseas buyers of Handmade Carpets and Rugs :-
1. Reimbursement towards Airfare (as a Subsidy): US $500.00
2. Complimentary Hotel Accommodation: Upto 2 nights of hotel stay (Room rent only with breakfast) for selected Overseas Buyers in Varanasi between 10th to 14th October, 2025.
3. Transfers: Shuttle Service from Varanasi Airport to Hotel, Hotel to the Fair Venue, Bhadohi and Fair Venue to the Hotel during 11-14 October, 2025.
