On February 10, 2020 the Embassy of India organized a Buyer Seller Meet for Indian Coffee and Tea companies that visited Moscow to participate in PRODEXPO, the largest food products exhibition in the country, with major Russian tea and coffee importers. The Meeting was inaugurated by Ambassador, who shared his views on cooperation opportunities and key trends in tea and coffee industry in Russia. Valuable inputs and recommendations were provided by Mr. Ramaz Chanturia, President of the Russian Association of tea and coffee producers "RosChaiCoffee", who ensured the Indian companies of his support. Mr. Srivatsa Krishna, CEO and Secretary, Coffee Board of India, who led the delegation, presented the Indian coffee industry highlighting the advantages and key features specific to Indian coffees and invited the Russian importers to participate in the World Coffee Conference 2020, which India will be privileged to host in September 2020 in Bangalor.
