The much awaited and widely popular annual “Indian Summer Bazaar”, organized by the Indian Women’s Association, Moscow will be held on 26th August this year from 10.00 hrs to 17.00 hrs. The main building Complex of the Indian Embassy at 6-8, Ulitsa Vorontsovo Polye will be the venue for the event.
This event will showcase the vibrant and rich Indian culture and will include sumptuous Indian cuisine, ethnic jewellery, unique handicrafts and colorful apparel. There are also opportunities to apply Mehndi (decorative form of ancient Indian body art) and have their palms become window to their souls in the Palmistry stalls. This year we are excited to present a special performance by the Indian Military Band!!!
The Bazaar will cater to the interests of all age groups and will include Game-Stalls with interesting games for children and young adults. The event will include an ensemble of cultural programmes including performances in Yoga, bollywood and classical music and dance. The Bazaar will also have a Tambola event. There will be a number of attractive raffle prizes, the lucky winners of which will be decided by draw of lottery towards the end of the event.
Raffles and entry tickets may be purchased well in advance to avoid last minute rush on the day of the event. Tickets may be purchased at Jawaharlal Nehru Cultural Centre, at 9, Vorontsovo Polye from 10.00 hours to 18.00 hours from the 1st of August.
