In the framework of 70th Anniversary of establishment of Indo-Russian diplomatic relations, India-Russia Friendship Motor rally 2018 is being conducted to strengthen the existing friendship between the two countries. The event is likely to foster trade, scientific and cultural cooperation, form up new joint ventures and expand the tourism industry. Starting on 20th February from the premises of Bhilai Steel Plant in the State of Chhattisgarh, the participants covered 9000 Km while visiting enterprises and power plants constructed with the participation of USSR and Russia. The first phase culminated at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in New Delhi. In the next phase, the motor rally is to cover the route of International North-South Transport Corridor.
